Own production

Environmentally friendly production in Rauma, West Coast of Finland.

Our factory, 100% powered by renewable energy and the heart of our operations, is located in Rauma in Satakunta, Finland. Only 20 kilometres from Port of Rauma, which is very convenient considering export business and customers. Over 70% of our kitchen products and food packages are produced in our factory.

We are constantly working on our sustainability vision that by 2030, all our products will be both recyclable and made of renewable materials. We still have a journey ahead to reach our goal, but we are making good progress. Currently, 53% of our products are recyclable and made from renewable raw materials. Our in-house production and our modern warehouse ensures excellent security of supply and fast deliveries to our customers.

Our carbon footprint is 25,018.99 t CO2e, which is equivalent to the annual emissions of approximately 2,500 average Finns. Remarkably, 99.93% of our emissions come from indirect sources in the value chain – particularly from purchased products and services, transportation, and the disposal of sold products. The majority of emissions came from raw material procurement, which is typical in processing industries.

Our direct emissions and those generated from purchased energy are minimal, accounting for only 0.07% of total emissions, 15.48 t CO2e. Moving forward, we will continue our efforts to reduce emissions throughout the value chain, including setting science-based climate targets.
